Another clunk in the rear thread.

Hey guys I need some suggestions.

325ix with 126k
Bistein hd with h&r sports
New rear sway link
JTD shock mounts. Washer is there
Subframe bushings and rtab are OK
Diff bushing is good.
Z3 reinforcing plates
Rsm nuts torqued to 15 ft/lbs
The shock nut is just tight. (This might be suspect)
Lower shock bolt torqued to spec. I think 76ft lbs or something

Problem is whenever I hit a speedbump or manhole cover or raised lip in the road I get a clunking from what sounds like a shock mount clashing into the body on the body. It's driving me insane... using a optima d35 with a bimmerworld tie down and its solid. I have a antenna delete plug in for the moment ( had to repair my antenna and ended up leaving it out) lost the plug; new ones on the way. The spare is not going anywhere. I can't remember when this started haopening but its probably been a few months. Sigh

I had a similar issue (Bilstein Sports) that never went away until I changed the 1 shock from the side that the noise was coming from. Shock was ~5 years old. How old are your shocks?

Also would like to mention that this happened with the old battery in so I has nothing to do with that. I can hear it from both sides. Anyone? Should I put stock shock mounts on?
