    13 months of e30 ownership

I bought this car just over a year ago. The PO had shoestrung, ducttaped, and garden hosed the bitch together to limp it along until it developed a massive fuel leak and he parked it. it was rotting away under a tree for six months before i bought it. soon afterward the rebuild began. i spent most of the fall/winter fixing it. I began daily driving it in January and haven't looked back.

Besides the mechanical issues the "then" photo still looked pretty good. Great progress....

            Red looks SO good paintmatched!!

Great job. I haven't decided whether I like the wheels or not but everything else looks good.

            Good save!

                  yeah

i wanted to paint it like that since i bought my e30. my other car is red also and has similar paint scheme. didnt see too many like it on the web for inspiration so i was concerned on how it would come out. i fivin love it

personally i dont like the wheels either. at the time, i had 5 baskets and 5 bottlecaps all of which where horribly out-of-round. i bought the 15's from a friend for $100 because i needed something that wasnt bent to hell.

thanks again for the kind words.

                      lol

I just really hate those VW style wheels man. On any car.
                      Paint looks nice though...
                      Stance is good.

Like it except for the wheels and oversize tires.

What's up with the gangsta-lean passenger seat?

How much did you pay for it originally? It looked like it was really straight when you got it. I wish my paint was nice :(

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.
