Mind as well chime in since I've been busting my balls trying to get Mr. Quade up to 2016 standards.

Drove back with my new fancy exhaust and realized that something smelled a bit...."burny"....time for some polly bushings!

Exhaust installed, then removed to work on the rear subframe. Ended up going with a Magnaflow muffler instead of the flowmaster I had originally had purchased- just to make it cleaner with some nice polished tips. 2.5'' after header Y pipe and Borla mid. Thing actually sounds great! Not too throaty, not too loud, just right!

Also spent a few days troubleshooting a vac leak, the idle wasn't happy. Turned out to be a bad MAF, replaced it and it was night and day....However, was getting worried by this....the CCV looked really gunked up, scary shit but this is apparently "Normal" with short trips and not driven enough. In all reality, this engine has not been driven more than 10 miles in the past 4 years...so makes sense.

        Renown Wheel installed

        Gonna have to paint this

Front hubs refreshed with new FAG's

I picked up this Ultrasonic cleaner from Harbor Freight, man I am in love with how well it works

Swore after doing the red e30 a few years ago I'd never do this job again. This time I didn't give a crap and ran through it pretty quick. Everything replaced with Garagistic's 80a Poly mounts.

        Sketchy bushing removal.

Paint all the things (with POR)

        Done.

And to my surprise, I thought this would have had a 3.73LSD for being an M20B25 and 1992. Well...it's a 4.10 open....no wonder why I had no 1st gear. On the search for something between 3.73-3.23LSD.

And currently I'm working on replacing THIS. Screw this job. UGH.

Picked up some local HID Smilies! Not sure if I'm going to put them on the red e30 or this one....

In other news, we somehow ended up with this abused '96 e34 we picked up for $800. Unmolested, 5 Speed and 215k but the M50 doesn't sound like it's anywhere near that many miles. Runs great, just needs some rear suspension work...reminds me of my e32 I had....but I like this one better!

Realized this past weekend, you can't wax a car in freezing temps. The greasy handprints all over the thing are driving me up the wall.

Frankenstein'd three different diff's to make a great combo- Medium Case LSD 3.46

              http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=399709

Other than that, running great! Runs like a rape'd ape with the new diff.

Thanks bud! I cannot wait to start driving this thing- just waiting on the warm weather to set in! Overall, it was a fun project...that I got lucky and didn't really spend a whole lot of $$ on after selling parts as I moved along. Always wanted to do an s52 swap and this one worked out perfect!

Just a few updates- this thing is a BLAST to drive...in love overall with how things are turning out. Current step....DETAILING the shit out of this thing for the upcoming vert weather :)

                    New "Less-Cracked" dash installed

Garagistic X-Brace (I'm in love- what a drastic improvement on handling and NVH)

Franken Diff Installed (The 3.46 is a PERFECT combo for the S52B32)

In the mean time- these other piles of shit are keeping me busy. Caddy ripped apart for a leaky heater core (I hate this thing) and my buddies e34 is getting ready for coilovers.

Just posted my stats over on the 24v swap thread.

                          1. Engine
                          S52B32 with ODB2
                          Stock S52 internals
Stock ODB2 Fuel Rail, ODB2 FPR/Running Losses, Stock charcoal canister
                          KAMotors CAI
m50 oil pan, intake, dip tube.
S52 stock CCV and it's related rat's nest of vac lines.
                          Rebuilt S52 injectors by MMMPEG

                          2. Engine Wiring
ODB2 Harness, 100% verified, cleaned and tested to all 88 Pins on the DME. (First swap taught me valuable lessons, you get to delete everything you don't need and make sure everything works from the getko)
Wired directly as a C101 male end connection instead of using a X20<>C101 adapter
SAP/EWS/ASC and ABS (e30 body runs ABS) deleted.
                          E36 318i Firewall covers

E30 early model E driveshaft with large guibo
                          Lightweight Flywheel/Clutch
E23 735i 3.64 LSD 188-Medium Case (Franken Diff- Removed original 4.10 open, swapped LSD carrier from e36 m3 3.15 and used original 4.10 open halfshafts on the e23 differential)
Garagistic 85a Poly Subframe, TAB, Diff and offset-CA bushings

                          Garagistic X-Brace (LOVE IT)

E30 Rubber Tans mounts on stock cross member (Had poly mounts and removed them, I had to go to the dentist after installing them originally....teeth grinding)

                          7. Motor Mounts
                          Condor Poly S5x Motor Mounts

Cut and slotted firewall to accommodate the air bag e30 steering column....(no one tells you this, but the steering column needs to be moved down and to the right to clear the e36 rack)

                          10. Cooling System
Z3m Radiator and Late model coolant tank

I've been buffing the crap out of this thing the past week- so happy that the paint underneath the filth really is in great shape.

The front end was banged up, so that needed a little facelift respray and it buttoned up very well....looks so weird since I have yet to see it cleaned up!
