Let see some early model E30's with bumper swaps

I can't find a thread with pics of this all in the same place. Post up pics of your early model E30 with swapped bumpers.

Euro bumpers, late model plastic swap, body kit, whatever...

Working on getting the rear done!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!

Post some pics of the rear when you get it done. I want to see how people are fitting those to the rear quarter. What are you planning on using to fill the gap?

                Also, you'll need this. http://www.r3vlimited.com/tech/bumper/bumper1.htm
It's not as simple as going out and buying the plastic bumpers.

Meh, it's honestly pretty straight forward if you are intuitive and mechanically inclined... A LOT of $$$ to do properly. I'm at $700+ with-out paint!

Man am I glad I got a early model euro. I wouldn't want to have to deal with a bumper swap, I cant stand the early model bumpers.

Early models and Euro models are the same, euro bumpers and diving boards can be swapped out for each other

Here's my '84 with a euro bumper swap. I've been running the us valance since I got all of my paint work and swap done...a correct front valance is in the works and being put together, but I think it came together pretty nice.

Looks like it's coming out well. What are you using to fill the gap in the rear? Also, why so expensive? Are you welding a late model rear valance, or just the plastics? $700 before paint does seem high.

Nice. Where did you source the Euro valance, if you don't mind me asking? Definitely post pics when it's mounted up.

Very nice. What lip is that? Also, what fogs and brackets do you need to get them mounted in there? Wheel specs?

                              Nice looking car.
