The fact that youre mixing up the C101 and Diag connector and stuff makes it not really seem like it :/
And by the looks of it youve already started cutting stuff you shouldnt.

I wouldn't be too worried if a few wire colors aren't the same as the ETM says. I had a few that were different than they said on my '95 m50 harness. Just make sure the pin number is correct at the x20/c101 end and ring the harness out with a multimeter after you're done and you'll be fine.
Ringing aka continuity testing is the best way to figure out what all the connectors are anyway as far as I'm concerned. Spend some time getting familiar with what goes to what and you'll be way ahead if something goes wrong on first start.
