    Bronzit 330iS M3 widebody

I recently got back in touch with an old friend who was abroad for the last 10 years. To my surprise he still has his E30 and I thought I'd share some pics. It's an 89 325iS with 3 liter M20 and M3 widebody fenders salvaged from donor cars. Keep in mind this car will built by my buddy who has always been eccentric, in the late 90's/early 2000's. Never seen a bronzit M3 widebody? well now you have.

This car is like the movie Point Break - awful to the point that it is totally awesome.

        Love it.

Wait a minute, e30 m3's never had side vents on the fenders. You're not fooling me.

It looks perfect for its time.
Every time you guys mod your car, remember, in another decade, people are going to see pictures of it, and have the same reaction you are having now. Most aesthetic mods are terrible. They just become common and trendy enough to be accepted.

Stance, Volvo lips, 'because racecar' style, the 'JDM' type tuner parts everyone is using? It's all going to look real dumb in a few years.

Now replace the steering wheel with an m-tech, replace the hood, remove the side vents, strip the paint off the tail lights, paint more of the body molding and trim black to add contrast, and get some better wheels, and that would be a good looking car.

Edit: a good looking car for today's sensibilities. Give it five years, and kids might be covering their cars with Astroturf. Style is relative.

I got into the thread reading some of the comments and was mad that everyone was dogging the car.........

                        Then I saw the car.

To each his own I suppose. I feel like he started well, just finished wrong.

I agree with Andy.B.. it's perfect for the time period it was built in. Looks like the body work was done really well, and some money was spent on that interior.

Obligatory if-it-were-mine mod list: ditch the DTM rear bumper, put on a stock hood, no fender grillez, MT2 wheel, black interior, MHW tails, and some mesh wheels or ARC8's..
