I'm only coming if there's alcohol involved.

There's no party, really. The meet takes place all day at the Triple-X Drive-In, followed by a drive, and then everyone pretty much disbands and heads home or elsewhere. It's an all-day event. The party Matt's house the night before just kind of happened because we were all staying there, and I think he was having a party that night already.

Definitely will be there, my favorite BMW event of the year! :)

Josh- perhaps we need to plan a "party" of sorts for the out of towners... in the past waterwagens shows, the hotel parking lots have proven to be the drunken party spot ;)

          All,

Remember to shoot me an e-mail off-line to RSVP. It helps me with coordination.

Info I Need: Name, number of guests, Year and type of E30, and hometown.

Drive: This year the drive after the Picnic is going to head South. Not sure of the exact route or ending location, but South is the plan to help some of the Portland guys.

          cheers,

Glad to hear it Lance, the drive to the falls always "falls" apart due to no parking and heavy traffic on I-90. I didn't even bother going on it last year.

Yeah, everyone gets all split up, there's no place to park up there, and it's just not much fun. A lot of us went on a much differnt route than the rest, and had a good time, though. But I would like to see a much better drive this time.

I don't know if i'll be attending this year, my cars clutch likes to act up on long trips and it did last time as well, not to mention it was scorching hot last time and i was sweating my ass off :p

I'll try to make it if weather isn't too unbarable

What were the rules for contest last year? Was it who could it the burger the fastest? Or just eat it at all? Was eating the fries the tiebraker? :-)

It was just eating all of the burger last year, I suppose if there was a tie fries could be the tiebreaker, and if all else fails the ginourmous drink you get too

I'll be there once again, hopefully making boatloads of power once again. I'll RSVP sometime later this week when I know I can get my work schedule off. I'll see what I can do for space at my parents house for the weekend, if you guys wanna meet up before the meet, that would be cool, we might be able to do it again the night of the even as well, if you dont want to drive all the way home afterwards. Lets see if I can get my parents to "go out of town" hehe, they usually dont care, but it would be an added bonus.

Lets juts not have a transmission fail this time!!!! Or a flat tire, tranny swap... that was a great drunken all nighter time!!
