Yup car goes on a diet ie take out more glass and skin the doors, put some proper springs on it. Remove factory exhaust and put in a new muffler, gut cat out. Add 5 speed and an electric fan since we had no fan of any type for cooling, because the ac fan was working intermittently.
Have a 5 speed set up will need a flywheel and clutch though.

Many thanks to our camp neighbors they helped us out in two jams with parts.
They finished third overall. 133 entries, we were told 120 makes me happy to know that since it was our first event we can't complain at all.
The engine is pretty tired also the rear suspension is super sloppy. The car shakes wildly when applying the brakes due to the extreme camber and a little toe forcing the wheels to dive into the center of the car when under force.
I heard Jay mention 133 entries but it's likely that there were 13 less starting Saturday due to no-shows or cars that died on Friday.
In any case, I hope we were well behaved while on the track with you. We try to balance between holding a decent racing line and carefully passing/getting passed. I found it hard Saturday to hold any kind of line as some of more powerful cars tended to bully their way into my apex. Sunday seemed a little better.
That green BMW was FAST. I'm thinking that wasn't a M42 under the hood.#30 Overengineer'd Racing - Wilton, NH
