    Opinion on e30 Stud Conversion?

Hey guys, I am looking for a stud conversion kit for my e30. Do you know of a good conversion kit for the e30?

    I'm using these:

No issues with them, they're a bit long -- but I like the look, and they're from a reputable company. They also sell a 75mm kit.

How do you properly torque the studs?

you don't. you use red locktite and put them in by hand with an allen wrench.

            never had one back out..

X2 on the loctite. I'm using studs too and I have had no problems.

Unfortunately, by the time it gets to you, all of that fancy stuff will likely have been picked clean by the greedy postal service employees. Please don't be surprised to see just a plain envelope.

Whats weird I just read this thread yesterday and I just threw a stud today. It can happen I suggest after you take your rims off a few times to redo the locktite . Mine were on for a year and I never checked them.

Mine were like 40-50 shipped and been rocking them for a over a year. That's on a slammed car on PA roads and then moved onto my current e30 thats lowered and on the same suspension (Ground control coilovers 500f/700r and bilstein sports). No issues.

Thats nice - streeg driving is like half as hard on car components as track.

If you ever plan on tracking your car, go with a vorschlag or turner kit. Mine has been through a few track days with flying colors. I'd be wary of any others.

+1 on studs, it makes mounting wheels so much easier, especially none hub centric ones. I love mine

What do you mean??? I should use quality parts to secure my wheels? Why? :|

I said I waned to find a cheap source of their studs. You know they are charging 3 or 4 times what they cost.
