oil pressure light below 500rpm

I noticed that if my car dips down below 500rpm the oil pressure light will turn on and then it turns off when the idle picks up.
My icv is broken so that is the reason for the low idle at times(just until I tap the gas then it levels out just under 1

Not sure that is a problem but sounds like if you fix the idle it won't do this

Oil pressure is dependent on rpm. I'm not sure the icv will be the source of low rpm.

That is normal on anything less than a freshly rebuilt engine. It may not happen when the correct oil is used and the engine is cold, but probably will once the engine is up to temperature.

I literally just woke up from a bad dream that had to do with my oil light not going off...a lot of smoke and an expensive tow
