    intake boot/brake booster hose

So I have a 90 325I vert(M20/auto trans), ordered a new intake boot thinking they would all be the same. They aren't... Anyways the new one does not have the port that connects to the booster line. I'm thinking I can just cap it off and I'm going to try that before I order a new boot but was just curious as to what the hell it does!

The 2nd brake booster line is there to provide more instantaneous boost than the systems with the single line. I forget which years had which but it changed in the '89 or '90 timeframe.

Blocked it off, everything is business as usual. If any issues arise I'll just get the proper one but I really don't anything will happen.
