There were a few interesting non-metallic colours in the e30 - mostly seemed to end up onM10 powered 316 or 318s.
My brother in-law had a grey 318 that was literally a grey, not a silver, with no metallic in it. Can't remember what the colour was called, but it was pretty ugly to be honest!
Nice work OP! I had a 316 when I lived in the UK with a Webber carbed M10, and previously a e21 320i - I loved driving both of them, even if they weren't the quickest things on the road. A well sorted M10 is fairly good on fuel, and a really tough engine.
Man I have never seen an E30 with that paint job before, I really like it.
Nice work! Looks like a clean example
thanks! And yeah it was one of the biggest factors for me buying her. I had seen really nice shiny red, white, or silver e30s but I'd never seen a beige one.
Let's just say I never lose this thing in a parking lot.
EDIT: The previously seized motor has seemingly broken loose. Though it's spinning I'm afraid of opening it up and seeing the damage inside...
