Anyone doing All Red Tail/tinting service these days?

I am in the market for some properly done all red tails. There have been a few people in the past offering this service but they seem to have all dried up. Does anyone know who is still offering something like this? I have done my own in the past but I want a deep, show quality clear that is going to last.

    Looking for something like these:

And this car was at the 2016 e30 Picnic wearing a good looking set of tails.

    Thanks in advance.

How is it done? Do they just disassemble the lights and spray them with a red dye?

Well, this is the idea: http://e30.bmwdiy.info/red-tails/index.html

I just want something done professionally with a good clear coat and high luster that is going to last.

I'm also interested. I did them on my ix and although they didn't turn out bad, I'm looking for a professional finish now.

DIY tint, then take lights to a body shop to clear?
They spray clear all the time, might not be prohibitive…

I'll be making a few late model sets in May if anyone is interested. I could do more if there is an interest.

This is extremely easy to DIY. Just tape off the clear part, tint and clear. If you can't or don't want to DIY basically any body shop should be able to do this.

I would not recommend the testors method. This is the way I have done it. Its not a quick DIY but the results will stand the test of time.

Agreed I used Testors waaay back on a 944 I had and was not that pleased with the results.

Interesting method using Metalcast, looks great. I have always just used VHT Nightshades, cleared, wet sanded and polished. Always turns out very nice.

Wow, I'm surprised at how well that "anodizing" paint worked. I used VHT red tinting paint and it never really turned out as well as I was hoping and peeled too easily.
