I'm doing a dash swap on my M3 and have an issue. The new dash is in great shape except for the two places where the top of the radio/hvac panel connects to the dash. Whoever uninstalled it from its original car was clueless and probably ripped out the original radio/hvac panel without taking out the top two screws and deformed the mounts.
Here's what the mount locations look like normally (I removed the green mounting clips show below)

I was able to take the plastic mounting brackets out of the old dash
I'm thinking of using some kind of adhesive to affix them to the new dash so they will take the mounting screws
Anyone run into this before? Any ideas?
