          if you actually spent some time with the bodywork and paint it could actually come out pretty decent. i used a steel hvac register/vent and a set of sheet metal clamp things (http://www.harborfreight.com/8-piece...mps-60545.html) plus some body filler.

          you'd be surprised at how much air it actually flows

              it may flow air, but looks exactly like an ac vent. Maybe Im to picky but there has to be better ways to get air flow.

                  I work for a fabrication shop and picked up some of this machine perforated aluminum i'm going to use for vents. nice and light, thin enough to mold into a position but stiff enough to hold form.

                      They actually came up alright i'm impressed.
                      However my first attempt i'm going to be using Ford T-Bird reverse scoops symmetrically either side, colour coded to blend in. As well as delete both high beams and put in 4" intake funnels in there place.
                      Could look horrible but I'll have to wait and see stay posted.

                      If it looks crap ill get a new bonnet and get some of that aluminium meshing and go down that route.

                              one of these http://www.cool-wheels.com/shop/wp-c...05/as2-16K.jpg off to the side above the turbo, buddy of mine has a 700ish hp urs4 5zylinder and you can literally see the heat rushing out from above the turbo when moving. plus its a design from the 80s
