no problem, I had done a ton of research and still hit a ton of hurdles because of the minor differences the 84 cars have. the radiator will be some work too.

Okay cool. I think I have all the parts to make it work. I got the mounts from a late model as well as the late model coolant overflow and hoses. Did you require anything else to make it work?

You might run into an issue with the shifter because its an early model. Not 100% sure if you will though, because I used the G260 that was already in my car. I had (and am still dealing with) other issues, but thats another story. I have an aluminum block M52 so that also has its own quirks.

Yeah i know im gonna have to mount up a late model shifter carrier some how, but ill cross that brindge when i get there. Does the aluminum block have a lot of different things or what?

Cool build. You are WAY more dedicated than I am. The rust just kills it for me. I have tiny rock marks all over my 4Runner and e30 that need attention, but the amount of rust you have to deal with up there is staggering. I guess it is everywhere other than where I live.

Keep up the good work though.

Thanks! Its overwhelming at times but in the end it will be worth it. The first e30 was a mess, all the paint has rusting rock chips all over, the second one at least is in good shape every where except the rust spots. So its a learning experience.

Well this week i cut my had while working on the car, pretty deep on my left hand. Had to get stitches and was just a big inconvenience. But i got some parts in.
Kamotors flares, cut to run with the plastic bumper conversion.

I am very happy with the quality, they should look good!
