Hey guys, im kinda new around here.. so let me introduce myself. I live in Vancouver, WA and my name is Max. i am also 18. and graduated highschool last year. I bought an e30 about a year ago, did some work to it and sold it:( owned a few cars since then, and today bought my second e30! one of the best days of my life x2:)!
The e30, well it is a 2 owner car, the owner i bought it from had owner the car a few months before i was born! thats exciting. The previous owner has kept the car original, one thing i love about this one is that every little elctronic thing works, and the interior is spotless, and has the original radio.. That works! so im excited for a unmodded, rust free, crack free dash and dirt cheap e30!
**Counted up his receipts and ya he spend a total of $16k at the mechanic shop over the years.. and said he did a lot of work himself also.
Some plans for the car are
-i wanna get the car in proper mechanical/maintenance condition(it is leaking oil and needs clutch maybe a transmission also) I just put a order into bavauto for a whole bunch of seals, hoses, wires, timing belt kit, etc...
-After the car is in good running condition, i wannna get some suspension work done. Ie.. bushings, springs(maybe coils)?
-Last one but not least in the future when the $$$$ is saved up buy (x) engine and swap that bad boy in... still deciding so many options!
