    Yet another cheap 318 - my $200 '91 318i!

Just bought this bad boy tonight. Still gotta trailer it home (and find a place to put it), but here it is.

It's a Brilliantrot '91 318i, 4 door, 5 speed with 164k. Needs a LOT of love but it was only $200 so who can complain? (the blue one next to it is my '84 coupe)

As for plans...it's either going to become my new beater/winter car, or I'm going to fix it up and give it to my little brother. Depends how high the budget to fix it goes. haha

I'll keep the thread updated with progress after I get it home and start tearing it apart!

Total purchase price for my two E30s: $800

It's been sitting for a while so it doesn't start, and has some minor damage on the passenger side. It has some rust too. Basically good for parts or beater status, so I'm going to try for the latter.

You my friend, are a total scam artist, I hate you!, I paid 2000 duckets for my e30.

GREAT FIND, couldn't be more happy for you.

Your 318th post was on a thread about a 318. That's so gay and awesome at the same time.

Finally got around to making the trek to where it's stored (40 miles away at my mom's house currently) to see what I could do about getting it running. Budgeted a few solid hours of work time since the guy I bought it from didn't sound too optimistic...

Couple gallons of fresh gas and a charge of the battery and I was in business!

Smells like it either has a gas leak or is running super rich but it ran/idled and drove around the block just fine. Lots of cosmetic issues to work on still but at least I know it's not a paperweight.
