Wow, did you see this stuff? Historic Racing Miniatures, didn't know about them. Cobra Daytona coupe....but sold out. These are resin and very expensive.
Also...
HRM, Scale Motorsport, these are sweet. Gunze? Never built one of those.
I am interested in this kit, but I am not familiar with their work. The site looks very good as do the info and photos. But at the price this kit is I am a bit cautious about a big investment.I am sure many of you have built their stuff? Value for the money? Quality?I see also they do some big st...
I see there is some scale / proportion problem with this Gunze kit. WAY way off. Someone suggested it could be from taking lines off a kit car or replica instead of a real Daytona.
SMS (Scale Motorsport) is grey, Gunze is white...

Someone stated, Hasegawa will make it (How they got it out of that mess of a post is beyond me). But that makes more sense since its a curbside. Revell of Germany from what I've seen is the same as our stuff but different boxes. Or atleast rhe kits ive ran across.

What does curbside mean?

So in other words id need to cut off the hood and put my own engine in.

Yes, Hasegawa! 1:24. 2500 yen, baby. Hobby Link Japan.
Hasegawa brings us a newly tooled kit of the classic BMW 2002 tii in 1/24th scale! Manufactured starting from 1971, the 2002 tii model BMW featured a 2.0L fuel-injected four cylinder engine rated at 130hp. Hasegawa’s nicely detailed new curbside-kit (no engine included) will feature two types of side-view mirrors, two different front bumper styles with the detail and fit and finish that Hasegawa are famous for!Molded in white, gray, clear, black and chrome-colored plastic; includes decals and soft tires.
Interesting that they only have a cad model rendering of it - too new to have any built ones yet?
I assume those are original 13" wheels. Would be nice to lower it a bit at least.
I tried hard to find an accurate Signal Orange or Signal Yellow for a 911 and couldn't get there, changed plans. I wonder if that classic BMW orange (forget the name) is available.
oh...EDIT.....Available June 2017. Better save up my Yen.Last edited by LateFan; 04-12-2017, 09:48 AM.
