    Timing my S50 help!

So my head cracked. New head, port job, big cams, valve springs, etc. I pulled the valve cover after a few hundred miles to see how I did on timing because I think I ran the engine the wrong way doing it the first time. Is this "close enough" or worth redoing? Exhaust cam is a little advanced, intake a little retarded. The previous owner of these cams ran the exhaust 6* retarded to make the best power I believe. What say you?

No one can tell me? I think it's fine. Not worth doing again.

I used the timing blocks to do mine. I've heard of successful builds using a ruler to time the cams, but the builder set them to be in line with the ruler, not advanced/retarded like yours are.

What you have amounts to eyeballing the cams, which is not likely to produce good results.
