Gap between front bumper and valance

So I'm putting my front end back together and noticed that there's a pretty big gap between the bumper and valance. It seems fine in the corners, but the middle not so much. Is there a way to adjust it? Or is the valance screwed up?

there are plastic mounting brackets that are NLA. they have a habit of breaking if you hit a driveway entrance or parking lot concrete divide. there is a guy on ebay that sells them but they're expensive like 170 or around there. mine's the same way. i'm pretty sure the fix is to remove it and drill holes in the bottom lip of the bumper. then put bolts in the holes. you then notch your air dam (spoiler), slip it between the nuts and the bumper, then tighten down on them which will intern, draw up the spoiler removing the gap. maybe someone else can confirm this.
