    Prep is spoiler for paint?

So my ix came without a rear wing of any sort. I am a bit obsessive and notice that from closing the trunk, there are tiny indents on the lip of the rear lid from my hands.

I am going to get some paint work done in March, so picked up an is rear spoiler to install and avoid this in the future.

The one I bought from someone on here was more beat that I expected... lots of cracks and chips and fisheyes. How should I prep it for the shop to paint... it is a hard rubber sort of material.

You can sand the paint off with 220 grit sand paper and consider filling any cracks with some filler. Ask the paint shop what kind of filler is best.
