I ordered a few parts that weren't completely necessary but here is the complete list of the parts I used. I did get my overheating issue resolved. It seems I had a large air pocket stuck in the heater core. I ended up bleeding the system for over 30 minutes to get it out. Now the needle sits right between the 1/4 and 1/2 mark like its supposed to.

    What site is B Purcells?

Sorry the formatting is messed up. These were taken from various emails.

        One other question Jak..

        What are:

        12 31 1 717 898 │ADJ. BAR │ 1.00 │ 5.50
        32 42 1 714 641 │ADJUSTING BAR │ 1.00 │ 7.15

Looking them up on pelican doesn't really help..

www.realoem.com - they are the mounts for the alternator and power steering pump.

Ak96ss knows his part numbers. I had to replace those because the teeth were all chewed up before I even loosened them.

Oh and thanks for that link. I did have it bookmarked already, I just didn't recognize the name.

Did you just buy these?? Did you use any sort of discount code for BMA?

Many of the parts were special order. I told Yves that I was referred by Jordan and R3vlimited but no discount code. He did price match some of the stuff though, saved me about $60.

Also I ordered some of the parts from pelican before I knew about BMA.

Where'd you get that deflection wheel price for the price match? All the ones I've seen are $$.

They last with regular oil changes and aren't abused.. Like a lot of older cars, maintenance is neglected after they go through a few owners.

Absolutely, which is surprising since I have an inch thick folder of all the maintenance receipts. I guess the car could have been run pretty hard though.

As for the source of my low price deflection gear, I don't remember for sure but here is an example. http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/se...294967020+6348.

Yves looked it up and after a minute or so told me he'd have no problem matching it. I spent a few evenings doing price research before I called him and I was just thinking I'd order from multiple places with the best prices. I didn't plan on him price matching.

I actually have my old one and it looks like new. I wouldn't have replaced it had I looked at it first. I may put it on Ebay and see if anyone wants to save $$.

A lot of what I read on his site is inaccurate.
Most of what was correct is common knowledge, but most of it seems to come from reading too many message boards and manufacturer's hype.
