will m20 fit my m42 driveshaft?

hey guys im doing an m20 swap for my 318is because my current motor

needs to be repaired but costs way too much too fix so my dad said i can

do a swap,but im not sure if the m20 will fit my driveshaft, would i need to

get a new one? im new at the swaps so if you can list the things i need ill

really appreciate it! :D

You'll be running the M20 engine with matching 260 transmission, right?

You'll need a driveshaft from a stick shift 325, the 318is driveshaft will be too long.
