I can make a wiring harness adapter for you. The E34 wiring is like the E36. You need to use the stock S54 wiring harness and ECU.

I cannot say enough good things about this guy.

I ordered an E30 M50 adapter and I have to say I'm impressed. The adapter looks like it was made by BMW themselves. Not only the item quality is superb, the communication is just as amazing. All the information regarding the car and the engine went through and he even supplied me with an extra diagram related to the A/C. He packed it, insured it and still came out cheaper than retailers. I feel safer when someone actually builds something around what I have other than just shoving an adapter into my face.

I cannot recommend Andrew enough! All I can do is bump the thread and spread the word :)

Unfortunately I cannot try it yet and probably not for some time seeing as my E30 is going through some major body work.

Yes, it's the same as the M50 adapter. It's $200 shipped. I accept PayPal to eurotrash8@gmail.com.

I've just received feedback that the ring terminal I've been supplying for the starter terminal 30h (field terminal) on the S54 adapter harness is too small to fit over the bolt stud. My apologies! I will now supply a larger terminal. But for those who have the smaller one, you can connect it to any ground point instead of the starter. Or you can use a conical file to enlarge the hole or snip it off and crimp on a larger ring terminal.
