tranny advice needed. what would you do in this situation?

I completed my s52 swap with the getrag 260, ran great but 2nd gear synchronizer was shot, so i install a different 260, now the damn clutch wont grab.

Now when I push the gas the rpms go up but clutch doesnt wanna grab right away, you have to wait and slowly pick up speed.

does anybody know if i just put the wrong combination pp, flywheel, cd.

So now i'm just gonna pit a getrag 240 but haven't found out what i use as far as what type of fw, pp, clutch.

unless I get some better advice here.

Sounds like the clutch is slipping. If it worked before, there's no reason it wouldn't work again unless something broke or you did something different reassembling it. There is plenty of info available on good clutch/PP/flywheel combos if you search around.

I'd pull it apart and carefully inspect everything as you dissemble it to try to identify where the issue is so you can correct it.

Also more specific info would help. Better detail of your issue, the parts you used and their mileage/age.
