1990 BMW 3-Series Sedan 325i

update 9/1/13
after a long bit of downtime the car has a running driving 1jzgte out of a 94-95 toyota chaser.

Suspension
KYB Gas adjust shocks with vogtland lowering springs

Exterior
unknown 15" wheels no one knows what they are :-/
ZENDER HeckSpoiler rear lip

Engine
dump exhaust
Fmic
1jzgte twin turbo

Future.......

15-16" wheels maybe a staggered setup
maybe a good single turbo setup or steel wheels for the CT12A turbos
coilovers
full exhaust









trying to find the problem i have shit disconnected





missing some trim here and there but i also had it torn apart cleaning stuff too








the doner from a friend since mine sounds like it has issues plus a 5 speed swap


i cleaned the car up a little since i didnt care for the plasti dip stripes

pulled the diff tag it was covered in crap and couldn't read it if only it said s4.10 :(



the replacement motor and transmission needs an oil pan and pump but i can use the ones from motor currently in the car



Update 12/30/12
Just starting the swap.


I had a moment of boredem and cleaned the yellow tint off the headlights.


The exhaust was welded 1 piece from the manifold to the tips so i had to cut it the mani bolts were not playing fair.


The car all stripped out


Swap done but in pieces just finished the first drive as a 5 speed


My model info just no more auto!!!

Shortly after that I was hit with a stupid stick and thought to my self hey I bet I can put a 1jzgte in there

I pulled all my carpet because it was absolutely just soaked with water.

Replaced my rear struts and rear springs tonight the front ones were on when i picked up the car.
I also fixed my exhaust no pics though
They were cut and too low evidently too short so the PO installed these to raise it back up.


Its not as low in the rearend now but close you can see the difference from the cut springs and the new ones.

Cut and braced rear springs must have been about equal to the suspension travel on a hard tail motorcycle! Kidneys? I'll take mine battered please!

Yeah the small meet was planned in the night before and we picked where to drive when we all showed up. Next time we have more people with interest to go so maybe it will be quite a large drive meet of all German cars.

Ive been driving the car around its doing well now ive got a few things i need to get done soon though they are all bugging me.
it needs
a 3rd brake light - thats the last check light i have on
a radio - the one in it was ripped out by a PO
ODO gears
and a fix for the gas gauge

Which shocks did you use, e30 spec or Camaro/Celia/mr2?
