i got the car last year it was completly stock. i bought it from the second owner , he had the car for 9 years:p.
here is some pics of it (stock) just tucked the bumpers and tinted the tailights;) right after i got it......


by that time it only had 193,000km


then i painted my rear bumper black and removed the tails tint. oh and i painted my b-caps black with silver lip




then i got into an accident:cockbloc:i ran into a ford explorer . thanks god no one actually got hurt. and the guy let me go , there wasn't evern a dent on his car, so he told me to just go fix the car. the car sat for almost 4 or 3 months , i was so confused about selling the car or just fix it AKA bring it back to life so i decided to bring it back to life;)

then i bought a euro headlights, grills and new radiator. oh and i got a used 88+ valance and used hood( was in a really fucked up shape)

and let the progress begaaaan

finally its finished.



then i daily drove the car. i bought a lip and color matched it.
pics are about 1 month old ??








my eta has jim comfort chip and muffler. (so dont mess with it)

haha the plans.
1. lowering.
2. maybe (plastic bumpers)
3. sportmax's 501 (gun metal) :hitler:
4. foglights.
so this past weekend i sanded the old bumpers surround and painted it with SEM oh and polished the metal part. (the i dea is to paint the metal part metalic silver)

then took the car for a cruise (just to mess around with the vtec guys)haah i was getting mad thumbs up for the sticker hhahahah



i didnt like the final results , so i decided to go over it again today.

and hell yes i like the final results now:)


oh yah i tucked the bumper.

i took the car for a cruise today and found two wonderfull e30's.
the M3 is for sale (has only 70000kms):o:o


and then i found this lovely cabrio..............

yes please lose the metal bumpers, if not at least get some new bumper surrounds. upper half of the tech2 wing has gotta go too. other than that, looks MUCH better with the late model valance, im about to do the same mod on my ETA good to know it will look good.

yah front is gonna be plastic bumper for sure.but i am not sure about the rear. its really hard to get those old metal bumpers off. thats why i just taped and painted. for the wing ya i am getting rid off . i am getting either a mtech1 wing or is rear spoiler. it came with the car so.....

looks like your car is coming along nicely. for future reference its really easy to take the surrounds off diving boards. the middle connector piece is bolted through the trunk under the trunk liner.
probably a lot faster and hassle free than masking all of it off

Also the cabrio is the only other e30 in town I know of that has euro bumpers. Saw it for sale on a used car lot for 10k (not worth it).
I think you should convert to plastics and stop wasting time on the DBs.

holly this thread needs a big update.



so its sitting in the garage right now. i just ordered a new radiator , fan clutch , fan blades and new motor mounts. it should be here on monday.
after that , i hope lowering and some nice deep-dished wheels.
