well, my white 770 code had white leatherette door pockets. they have been dyed black but you can tell by looking at them in certain spots that they were parchment at one time.

Just wanted to update my thread. After several months of searching I found the perfect car. A 1992 MTech appearance package alpinweiss original manual vert. 54,000 original miles. It's beautiful. Thanks to all of you and the knowledge you have imparted throughout the process. I'm sure I'll continue to post and I'll have a lot more questions as I become an official E30 owner.
