so imy tripometer stopped working is there anyways to fix it because its gonan be hard to find a good condition cluster at 27xk ?? anyone know somewhere to fix it or a quick way to put miles on a less mileage one

Most likely the gears stripped or broke. You could get new gears, but it is a pain to put in. I would just find another good cluster and put it in. Not sure how to make the mileage go up without taking the cluster apart.Originally posted by cabriodster87Originally posted by Kershaw -
Look at gears on Speedometer. If they are stripped, that could be the cause. I recently had failed tripometer and odometer but the speedometer was working. I exercised the code plug that plugs into the SI board and everything is working now. HTH..
