        I wonder if it might work to get a Really thin saw to slide behind it and cut it off that way. Almost like floss or fishing line. Maybe one of those would even work... Then you could probably get the glue off with some regular goo remover like the stuff from 3M or something.

              I took a cut off wheel and my handi dandi air tool and cut the portion of the trunklid off that contained the letters and then I fabricated a new piece out of sheet metal from my wifes car. After trial and error I finally perfected the shape and welded it in, blended it, prepped it, painted it, and polished it. Like it was never there!!
