LOL ^ . That was actually (similar) question that popped in my mind on the way to work this AM. I want to know what this will do to the relative positioning of the gas pedal vs. brake/clutch.

I should have an answer tomorrow as far as the CAD drawings go. I'll take these to my machinist buddy and see what he says. I will try to stay as close to the original price as I can. As everyone knows small run machined/ welded/ fabricated stuff ain't cheap!

Trying to confirm with the designer with what specific pedal set he tested / results etc.

That would be a good bet... that is the unit in the pictures, it's the same one I have in my car, so I can say 100%...

Garey do you have pictures of where/how you mounted yours?

I think there are some in the build thread, but remember, my car has a full cage, integrated into the structure of the car and a dashbar. Mine is mounted to a custom bracket which is welded to the dashbar, the firewall and the steering column mount. The top of the pedal assembly has four threaded posts cast into it and I made yet another plate bracket which is bolted to the pedal assembly and bolted to the overhang of the firewall. Plenty of reinforcement, but much more involved than most want to get into. That's why that plate setup that Justin linked us to is so nice... it's way less involved and doesn't require a cage and dashbar to tie it into.

I have to do some brake system work over the weekend and I'll get you some more pictures then. For now, look back into my build thread, there should be some...
