WTF, evict you for doing much needed car maintenance?

Why did you go back to the dual mass flywheel? Isnt the single mass lighter?
..yeah it sucks to be me :x I do all the work on my car in the backyard and this is apparently much to the nitwit's (landlord) annoyance. Last summer while taking my wrecked 325iS apart, he increased my rent by a few Dollars for no reason...this year he handed me 4 copies of poorly written formal notices of eviction If I continue to work on the car... I guess he's pissed that I have skills and he doesn't :P

My car is an 88 eta...I had the "i" flywheel and clutch kit in my car for a period of about 5 months and I mysteriously broke 3 pressure plates regardless of driving habits. Needless to say this time around I didn't want to be doing a tranny job again ;)

Yes, that is the one. I got an email the other day from Reza as he was directed to me through a friend. I have seen the car in person and been passed by it on track. It is beautifully prepared and when it says no expense spared, it hasn't been.

I can *swing* the car but there are other things that I want to do as well...sigh...

Hoping I dont have to sell my SSR's for food.

That being said, if I can find a job, probably nothing. Save for looking for a buildable 944 Turbo or E36 M3. Gotten to the point where I am not going to be racing this car, and it can hold its on the track, so why keep putting money into it? IMO, there are better cars to put lots of money into then E30's, although I do love it for a daily driver (I am on my 3rd).

Perhaps I will be doing stiffer suspension, and a 60% limited-slip. If money were no object I'd pull the fenders and run a 235/40-17 Yokohama A032R's on a set of Fikse FM-10's. But I seriously doubt that will happen  Other than that I'm going to save for next racing season.

Here's my list. A bit short but I suspect the stroker will consume most time.

            Clutch Slave Cylinder
            Rear Subframe Bushings
            New Guibo
            CAI Heatshield
Build the 2.7l Stroker and Install
            New Throwout Bearing
[Edit] - Forgot the Racing Dynamics straight exhaust pipe I'm about to install

            Stroker status:

Block is cleaned, head ported, 274 cam recieved, awaiting word on Euro pistons for 10.5:1 cr (otherwise I'm stuck with super eta pistons), all gaskets recieved, need to purchase piston rings, main bearings and rod bearings. Already have an "i" in the car so the swap should be relatively straightforward.
Driving is the only way to go faster....

This winter, probably just fixing little things on the car. I might end up pulling the head, since I think my head gasket is starting to go south. I need to do the timing belt, and a few other little maintence items. I'll probably end up tossing in a new seat (sprint or forza), and maybe a 4.10 rear end if I can dig one up at a decent price.

I have a feeling the 4.10 money is going to be redirected towards a better cause though, an evolution school in March or April.
