    Summit Pt Shenandoah Circuit

Granted, they're a little behind on completion of this expansion, but check out the pics anyway.

Check out the banked concrete section on the left hand side of the second pic. Can we say Karrussel turn?

Hopefully this will be finished by Summer/Fall of next year, I plan on running at least one school there.

Where is this track located? Any links or hints as to what schedule they might have for 2004? What about cost of the events...its looks stunning to drive on to say the least..

NICE!! Cant wait to run there next year. Oh they were way off schedule this year. Rain really set them back. I have a copy of the new courses topographical map at home somewhere.

        Eric,
BSR runs events at Summit Point. I usually run in their FATT (Friday At The Track) program held on select fridays during the season . $175 for the day and you get 4, 20 minute sessions and a 20 minute skidpad session in their Chevy Caprices (you at the wheel, driving a BOAT at the limit, with some instructor help of course :D).

Next year I should qualify for their "Seat Time" program where its drive as much as you can or able to.

Summit Point Trivia - the current carusel on the normal track is also a reproduction of the Nurburgrings famous carousel. Also, the new Shenadoah circuit is a cumlimation of sections from world famous tracks that BSRs owner used to race in formuas Vees on during the 60s and 70s.

You can see the main courses carousel in the second picture over in the right hand upper corner.

I used to work for a buddy of mine from the Delaware chapter of BMW in the pits. We used to goto the road events at Pocono and Summit Point. It was cool for the enduro races. I never had money then to run a car.
