I'm set on brakes - i just want to note that lee is a stand up guy. He's an asset not only to the e30 community - but the entire BMW community.

Just as a note, I will let "The Control Guy" lead this GB. But if you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

As of past Autumn, all kits come with the newer version of caliper brackets. As usual they are made from stainless steel, but now all holes are threaded, making installation much easier. The previous generation with slotted mounting holes allowed to tune the height of the caliper depending on the type of pad. Some pads such as Performance Friction are indeed "missing" about 2mm of material on the outer circumference. Now caliper height is fixed.

Also, the kits also come with a direct metric-to-npt hydraulic fitting. So, you can use your own brakelines. The Race and the Sport kits are both available at the same price.
If you are interested in a kit for another model, I guess that the freepads, free shipping on Wilwood parts and base kit, will apply (value of around $170). All hats are anodized silver.

On a sidenote, I am also working on $$$ 13" and 14" kits using Nascar Brembos and Alcon Mono6 calipers. But the same attention details prevails in those $1050 e30 kits.
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

I have installed two Massive brake kits on BMW 2002's and I have to say the quality is second to none! Lee put a lot effort and research into these kits and they fit just the way they should and work just as well. I feel that they are the best BMW brake kits on the market.

I keep eyeing my friends kit on his '02. All the hardware is quality, I'm really considering going this route for my e30 m3.

                      Lee,

I know I asked before but will the kit fit with the Fikse FM10 wheel or does anyone know this by chance.

                      Thanks,

                      Tyler

                        Hi Tyler.

I guess we are talking about an e30 M3 kit. Right?

My half-stupid reply should be to check the profiles. But I suspect that you don't have the wheels yet. FM10 wheels have a wide lips, which usually means that spokes are not reaching toward the outside, and therefore take-up precious clearance.

Anyway, I don't know who's using Fikse's FM10 on a BBK. But you got great taste nonetheless. Here's some data for the M3 13" race kit.

I have the wheels. I will see if I can use the measurements above to confirm.

                          Thanks,

I'll be keeping my eye on this, I'd love to make this happen before track season and I don't see the exchange rate getting any better in the near future but I'm not sure I'll be able to make it happen yet... Just count me as an observer for now.
