    Bilstein shocks in JOM coilover?

Hi all, My front shocks from my JOM kit bottom out pretty good over bumps and I'm not even dropped all that far down. I think the front shocks are blown. I know this is a cheaper kit, but this car is just a cruiser for me.

So, I want to replace them. Has anyone ever replaced them with Bilstein shocks but kept the springs / coil over part for adjustability?

If you bottom out a lot, it is generally because the springs are too soft for the ride height they sit at. Bottoming out the shocks kills them. Blown shocks are not the problem. You either need to raise the car up or get stiffer springs.

Judging by the fact that there's absolutely no useful info on the JOM website, just marketing wank, I'm going to guess that the springs are made of cheese grade metal and are far too soft for a low car.
