    Hunter's IX ongoing tweaks and maintenance

    Kinda wanted to keep a log of what I am doing to my car and just for future reference if I need to remember how I did it. Feel free to comment and as always suggestions are welcomed. Not necessarily in chronological order but as time progresses it will be.

    Replaced parts:
    Drivers Control arm
    Rack

    Passenger wheel bearing/hub (old hub was bent)
    Drivers strut housing (thanks nick waller)
    Bilstein HD's
    Strut mounts
    Passenger upper spring perch
    Sway bar links front and back
    Subframe bushings
    New condenser
    New Guibos front and rear DS not in between transfer case yet
    New Rear driveshaft
    Rebuilt spare transfer case and put in car (still leaking dunno why yet)
    New drivers side rear output flange seal
    Replaced H&R springs with stock
    New 96 m3 CABS
    Head gasket x2 (for those wondering, Jb weld holds up to cylinder pressure for about 18 months on a nick in the head)
    New timing belt 215,000 miles when head gasket got done
    Used head lapped in all valves, decked by AIM parts in glenshaw PA
    New water pump 196k
    Whodwho Ms with 17lb injectors (soon to be 42 lbs)
    Cut out cat and welded in pipe.
    Fleabay fuel pump
    New 95h9 interstate battery
    new alternator
    Lukebox 10" factory premium speakers Nakamichi cd400 head unit. Pioneer 4 channel for speakers and sony 2 bridged into 1 for sub
    New battery cable
    used sport seats
    Brake hoses to the calipers (ones over axle not yet)
    Hella Bifocal H1 low beams and Hella H1 high beams
    License plate light rust and new lights

    Need to do:
    Clutch at some point
    Rear trailing arm bushings
    Axle boots all around
    Coolant hoses
    Fan clutch and blade (done)
    New front and rear windshield
    Rear engine main seal i think
    Brake hoses over rear axle
    Door seals
    Trunk seal (done)
    Sunroof seal
    Wiper motor? (moves really slow sometime but seems free when i disassemble) any ideas would be appreciated
    Blower motor eventually
    Heater box recirc flaps
    Heated seats
    Shift boot (done)
    Get saab v6 ignition coil and finish wasted spark (done)
    Fix passenger front fender rust hole
    Make heater temp control work correctly
    install AFR gauge

    awesome. have fun! the IX has a completely different suspension setup than any of the e30 models. keep that in mind when buying parts.

          Wasted spark done (want to find nicer looking set of plug wires)
          Distributor delete plate on
          New fan blade and clutch
          Bosch green Giant injectors installed,
          Passenger side outer ball joint replaced,
          Replaced blue coolant temp sensor plug and terminals

                How are the injectors working for you? I'm about to replace mine with something different, but curious how the ones you got are. Link?

                  im extremely pleased with them, i mean for naturally aspirated they're way overkill but once i go turbo they should be enough
