Transmission Fill Plug stuck... Any ideas?

This is a first, 5 speed transmission fill plug is stuck! I tried a breaker, but the hex socket slipped and I think the plug is starting to round.

I heard some people have had luck with chiseling it. I've never tried to cold chisel anything, what is the proper technique?

I've also got multi spline easy outs. I think the right size is 11/16 but I'm worried about depth. Not sure if the plug is keep enough to let the threads engage.

FYI this is a recessed hex style plug.

Any ideas on how to properly chisel or alternate methods are appreciated.

Pentrating oil like PBlsster or Kroil and tie for it to wrk (hours or days) may help. Judicious use of a flame wrench (oxy-acetelyne torch) may be required.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
