tach stopped working after Euro clock install

I swapped out my 6 button computer with a euro clock and magically my tach stopped working. I remember when I wired up my stereo I had this issue however it turned out I blew a fuse. This time, no fuses blown.

I know the tach is somehow wired up via the stereo constant power wires but I checked all my connections and everything seems solid. I even put my original 6 button it and everything works. Stereo and computer but the tach just doesn't work.

    Any ideas? Thanks.

The wiring diagrams at http://wedophones.com/BMWManualsLead.htm will help in understanding where the tach is powered from and how the engine speed signal is routed from the DME to the cluster. The fuse chart shows what fuses are involved.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

        ***solved***

I swapped out a cluster with a spare and the tach worked. Ironically the batteries on the SI board must have when out at the same time. Replacing batteries and getting her back on the road.
