Driver side rear wheel weird noise, stumped.

Recently started hearing a metallic squeak/scraping from my rear driver side wheel. It only happens when I'm going slow and especially as if I coast to a stop, and then when I accelerate. Replaced my front and rear pads, didn't help. Ripped the rotor off 4 or 5 times today cleaned it up didn't see anything that would be rubbing or scraping. Had both rear wheels in the air and could not replicate the noise. Found out that if I rip the e brake as hard as I can while driving it goes away. However my e brake pads look fine. Any ideas? Its driving me nuts.

...but when you just trail the parking brake it's still there?

I vote rear wheel bearing IF your big- ass 30mm nut is still nice an tight.

now, sometimes I just mess with people. It's more entertaining that way. george graves

If it was a wheel bearing wouldnt it be getting louder as i speed up? this becomes unnoticable after 30 kmph.

Was my e brake not sure what was wrong, but it exploded on the highway today, and all fell into pieces when i took the rotor off again.

Maybe that's from "ripping it" while driving?
