Can I add 100hp with no forced induction?

Hey guys I was wondering If there was a way squeeze another 100HP out of my 86 325es without having to get a turbo or engine swapping.

Hahaha. Good question but there is absolutely no way of that. Like 0% chance. You can probably spend a few thousand bucks and maybe get 20 hp if you're really lucky. Or spend a few thousand bucks and get a cheap turbo kit.

Yes it is very possible. A well built 2.9L M20 with ITB's can do it on pump gas.

A fully built 2.9L M20 on race gas, ITB's and a crapload of other stuff has done 293whp in race tune, 200hp+ over your B27..

If you read mr2peak's post, you'll see it's actually 100% possible. If you don't know, please don't post misleading info.

Once upon a time this guy would have been tortured for asking a question like this, lol.

But to answer OP's question... Yes it is possible, but its not going to be cheap.

I rather ask stupid questions than do something stupid to my car. Thanks for not roasting a newbie lol. Thanks for the info.
