    The propeller says "12 1/2 18." 12.5" diameter, 18 degree(?) pitch?

Just got the kids to sleep so I can't watch the video yet..

I'm just posting to say don't sell it. I got pretty excited to see this thread bumped, only to have my bubble burst.

        Keep it!

Yeah, I know. But it just isn't realistic. This past May, my parents sold the property that the boat was stored at, so I moved it over to my grandparents house. Then those same people decided to buy that house too (closing date Aug 1), which means we've lost a total of 5 garage spaces in 6 months. I just don't have the space to keep it, and I have too many other projects to begin with (my 280z, my willys, and maybe my 240z).

Unfortunate, and I hate to do it, but not much I can do about it. And honestly, I'd like to get these projects done so that I can do something else with my time and money.

Pitch is measured in inches along the axis of the shaft so 18 would be a lot on a12" prop.

This reminds me of a motorized model of the USS Enterprise that I got for my 13th bday. It must have been 3 ft long and I assembled it with a 4" firecracker inside with the fuse coming out one of the smoke stacks.

I took it to the lake at the neighborhood park, poured lighter fluid all over it, turn on the motor and lit her up. She melted oh so slowly as she motored out, then the fuse caught and she BLEW..sinking in a cloud of smoke and smoldering plastic.
