I have an e30 for sale that I had hoped would be suitable replacement for my wrecked 91 318i, but it isn't quite what I'm looking for. Located in Augusta, GA, looking for $800 obro. It is as follows:
1988 325 (2.7 block) last 7 of vin: 8865207
GOOD
-body is STRAIGHT
-tinted windows
-sunroof
-not bronzit (kidding, I know some of you love bronzit)
-5 speed
-resprayed from bronzit to a nice silver with black pinstripes (don't think its oem)
INDIFFERENT
tan interior
BAD
-NO TITLE YET I am in the process of getting a bonded one here in GA
-needs timing belt/water pump
-engine needs to be put back together from previous owner's attempt to do TB/WP (I never did it after I decided it didn't suit my needs because I'm a lazy jerk)
-valve cover gasket
-needs all new suspension (shocks, struts, bushings)
-wipers
-needs a rear DB or perfect candidate for plastic bumper swap
-spot of rust in the trunk under antenna which has caused a small hole above the rockguard in the valance
-rust on roof/sunroof mostly surface (under the sunroof deflector)
-bottlecap wheels
-some overspray on windshield trim from respray
-needs driver's seat (I have a comfort one with a giant hole in it I can toss in)
-carpet is filthy
-good headliner
-trunk lock needs to be replaced
-needs driver's knee bolster
-hood release needs replacing
-needs exhaust (previous owner chopped up oem one; my buddy has a spare that he'd love to sell from an old vert partout
-cracked dash
-needs shocks/struts
-needs a battery
I can't think of anything else off the top of my head, and I'm doing this at work, so no pictures until I home tonight. They should be up around 11pm on the east coast. I'm looking for $800 obro
Some of the stuff these cars need is in the shop I share with a buddy, feel free to peruse and see what you can use (some will be given away with the purchase of the cars, other bits will be for sale since it aint all my stuff).
I know these cars as described aren't in the best condition, please save your negativity. If you're interested feel free to pm me. I'm just trying to recoup some cash for another purchase.
