Needed a 3mm spacer up front to clear the strut. Want to throw a 10mm on the rears to help understeer

245 street tires? What type of 245s are you planning on using?

245s like A6s, not street tires. The rims are ccw reps so I figured I'd spend my money on the tires, not the wheels...

How do you like the quality? I was thinking about getting the Felgenwerks 57rv's since they are only 14lbs in 15x9, but the spoke design looks a little sketchy, especially since I'm considering trying to put 275's on them.

These last couple of posts are very relevant to my interests. I've heard rumors of a 245/15 Rival coming out, so I may be in the market for a 15x9.

Were you able to fit the front without pulling the fenders?

That would be f-ing sweet. Hope all the other manufacturers of 200 tw tires follow suit too.

He did say rumors, its not a for sure thing, but several people very well connected have hinted that a wider 15" rival is in the works, with the imminent release of their new compound coming up shortly it makes sense that sizes could be added at that time.

I suspect we might know more after SEMA.

I have TRMotorsport C1s 15x8. The back spacing according to Tirerack is 5.24". I feel they are pretty close. I would prefer a little more space between the wheel and strut. so something like a 5.125" back spacing would be good.

forget offset, find a wheel that has 5.125 backspacing and it will fit your car without spacers.

                  Good luck.

Yeah I have TRM 15x8 as well, and there is barely any room between the wheel/tire and strut. Still looking...

                    I don't even see 6UL 15x10 anymore listed , only 15x9 wtf

I used to have a set of 15x8's. No spacers in the rear, 20mm in the front. I still have these spacers… They left plenty of room for a 225 to clear the strut. I remember measuring everything out to leave room for hoosiers to flex a bit.

I eyeballed it, and ordered the wheels. Then I used washers to space the wheels out correctly, measured them, and ordered the spacers. Worked out great.
Drive it hard. Maintain it well.

I slapped a 3mm spacer on the front to clear the strut and that was it. I have GC coils btw. I also rolled the inner lip on the front fender a bit for fun, but wasnt really necessary. The rears chewed the outside of my tires up on WOT a bit, but nothing a little roll didnt fix. I need some spacers in the rear to get some rear track width back...might just upgrade rear tire width, but i like having the rotate-ability

Quality seems alright. The roadforce machine at work had some discrepancies to iron out, but nothing a few wheel weights couldnt fix. I'd beat on the car for ~200 miles without issue, but I'll update if I notice anything off when I really start tracking the car.

Agreed with what Brad said. Nothing set in stone yet, but some people fairly well connected in the industry have hinted at it. SEMA is revealing some pretty awesome news already, with Toyo unveiling a 200TW R1R for us street tire autoX folk.

Also Brad made me aware of these today. jongbloed has a 15x10, 4x100 et15 57.1mm wheel out, and they are available here for $139. I am wanting 15x9's for STX use, but the temptation to pick these up in 15x10 for possible SM use later on is very real.

Any rough idea on how much spacer would be needed to run a 15x10 +15 with a 245 tire on a late model?

Wouldn't you need a 25mm spacer to clear the front strut with a 15x10 et 15 with 275 Hoosiers on them?
