its a disc setup like a supertrapp, but there really isn't a muffler there. pretty much a straight pipe and some diffuser discs for backpressure. that think must be fucking loud.

Ive been reading up all day long on cafe style bikes and their history, and what is popular on them.

Made a phone call, secured a 1979 CB750k. Ready to be raped and rebuilt.
I'll post pics as I work on it. :)

Ive been talking about getting a motorcycle again for a while. I've got an old school mint 74 XL100 trail bike all original as well that I fell in love with long ago. I dunno, it caught my eye, and I have a bunch of gear head friends that owe me money at some point.

Great now I gotta post more pics of my junk ;) It's late and I have no electric in my garage so tom I'll post pics of my 74 cb450. Currently working on shift linkage (shifter and brake levers and brackets from '00 F4i and some other random bikes). I got distracted from the bike and '67 bug by house renovations but now its summer! Pics tomorrow:D

Building one of these means leanin how to make stuff and picking up bits from swap meets. theres no reason you should spend more than $1500-2000 to make a neat lil scoot.

that Suzy is a perfect example.
+1 but i thought that they had some cool stuff and the pictures give a good example of what a cafe bike looks like.

Some pics of mine. One is a close up of my rearset setup. It's off an '01 F4i and some type of yamaha....(it's just tacked in place @ this point) Front fender is off an early 80's suzuki (needs to be trimmed where it mounts to shock tube). Also you can see my '67 bug and my "pinstriping" talents. I need more practice
