Obviously I'm interested in this. I also agree with Nando we need to make sure we do this right. After a very quick look around the internet here are some ratios.

Are these the rack ratios? Because where the tie rod sits relatively to the hub center also has an effect on the ratio so to speak :)
      E30 325ix M50 turbo 7 spd DCT 4wd 840awhp @ 31 psi.
      E30 M50 6 spd 764whp @ 24psi.
      E30 M20 6 spd 675whp.

Yeah those are the ratios I found. It was just after a quick Google search, however I doubt you'll find the tie rod to hub center dimensions on the web.

I have an RS4 rack in my Audi and it's a 13.1:1. It's very tight, but still practical. I'd think a 13.7:1 rack would be just right.

I have little to contribute on the technical side of this conversation, but would definitely spend the Money on this kit. My Ford Fusion rack feels more sporting than my IX and thats a damn shame...

Yeah it's a good starting point, just need to take that into consideration I think :)

Either way track season for me starts at the end of march so if I could have a fresh rack by then that would be great. If not I probably wont do it unless necessary during the season. Either way I hope this actually happens.

13.7 would be the best for sure.

                                Hey guy,
Sorry for the lack of news. Haven't had any spare time lately.
I'm hoping to get my hands dirty within the next 2 weeks.
Will post as soon as I do.

                                Thanks for your patience!
