      100hp ontop of a 120-130hp engine only puts you at 220-230hp. you get almost 50hp by dropping in a m20b25. this isnt that big a feat nowadays but it isnt going to be done with what most would call bolt ons. you could do it without touching the short block
      89 E30 325is Lachs Silber - currently M20B31, M20B33 in the works, stroked to the hilt...

        An M54b30's good for 225 hp, stock, and it's got that nice light aluminum block...
        ...and a decent used one doesn't cost much more than my naws bottle. Jus' sayin'...
