Need your help -- WTF is this part?!?!

Alright guys (and gal), trying to track down an intake leak and think I've found it. The elbow connector. The one that connects the hose that comes off the ICV and goes in to the throttle body. It's very loose on my car and was able to find it by spraying carb cleaner in the area. Is this part available by itself? Spent two hours searching realoem, pelican parts, ECS, FCPeuro and BavAuto w/ no luck.

Just silicone or JB Weld it in place. Problem solved. :)

I always just cement them back in place with 2 part epoxy (jb weld or similar)

Edit: ^ beat me to it!

        It's called
'that damned elbow that always loosens up because it's just pressed in there'
        and the official repair is
JB Weld it in place. Problem solved.

...but for real though is there any way to buy one of those short of a whole new throttle body? I'm in a similar boat except that my little elbow guy is missing in action.

There's a DIY to tap the throttle body and use AN fittings. That tap is on my list...and mine don't leak

Yeah, ok. Was thinking I'd JB Weld it as a last resort, just trying not to slap another bandaid on this ole gal. Tap and AN is interesting, i might look into that.

silicone it in, that way you can easily remove later if needed

Why would you ever want to remove it if it's threaded and never leaks

This is the correct way to fix things like this. I would tap it but thats me (as I have a couple of sets of Tap/dies and odds and ends fittings bucket laying around already) It does not have to be a AN fitting, could prolly just use a brass NPT to Barb 90* just as easily form the hardware store. Or if you cant find that a NPT to NPT 90* fitting with a NPT to barb nipple threaded on to the end of that.......

That said; the epoxy way is just as effective, cheaper (unless you have a correct tap already), easier to source the materials, and likely faster (if you use a fast cure epoxy) and more or less an idiot proof repair method.....
