    325e - 318i swap troubles.

    Hello,
Have troubles getting spark on my 325e 86 motor swap into a 318i 90 shell.
    Have swapped over:
    motor
    gearbox
    diff
    tailshaft
    exhaust
    ecu
    cluster
    loom
    rear battery wiring

    new parts:
    coil
    belts
    rotor
    dizzy cap
gaskets - rocker cover, inlet manifold, exhaust, throttle body.

As far as i know i have swapped everything i need from my donor car (old week car) into the shell.

Having troubles getting good spark on all cylinders.
Got yellow spark on 1 and 6 sometimes fires.
No spark on the plugs from 2,3,4 and 5.
Have checked all the leads and plugs and they are all doing the same in different places.
    Getting spark off the coil.

We have new fuel, working pump etc. NOT A FUEL PROBLEM.
have checked the reference sensor and speed sensor both seem to be working fine and worked in the old car. tried switching plugs etc didnt help.
check the ecu and pins on the loom all check out
rewired the C101 plug (engine loom to fuse box plug) to make sure 100% right.
Rewired the 3 plug next to the ecu (same as donor car)
did a full ignition check and couldnt find anything.

Any ideas on what this could be, I still have heaps of things we have tried with no change.
    thanks for any help.

Yellow spark sounds weak to me, I wouldn't say the coil was working properly unless you see a strong Blue/white spark. Did you remember your engine ground strap (which is now on the opposite side of the engine)
