Hi, i am working on my 325 and finally at the point where im about to start it but i have no power to the fuel pump, that is a different issue however.
In the meantime, i just want to get fuel delivered to the rail, so i hooked up 12v to the fuel pump manually and im noticing that even when i run the pump manually, there is still no fuel being delivered to the rail or hose, no pressure, no nothing.
This car has been sitting for some time, about 8 months now, and I am wondering if the fuel filter might be somehow clogged or something that would be preventing fuel to be at least pumped thru the hose.
The pump is certainly turning on, its running, but with the two fuel hoses disconnected up front, no fuel.
Yes i have gas in the tank, not much, but enough to start it.
I suppose I should just change the filter anyway, but I was just wondering if anyone knew of anywhere else to look. I suppose the pump could also be faulty as well and while running, something inside broken so to prevent it from pumping.
Any suggestions would help
thanks!
